Guadalest, is declared as a Historic-Artistic Site. In 2015, after passing a series of audits, the municipality became part of “The most beautiful villages in Spain” and in 2016 enters the Federation of the most beautiful villages in the world. Guadalest is a small but mainly tourist town and well known for the picturesque castle that dominates the entire Guadalest valley. The municipality is located in this valley and is bordered by the highest heights of the province.

In this small town one of the curiosities that attracts tourists is the amount of museums it has. You can find very varied themes, for example, the Museum of Nativities and Doll Houses or the Museum of Microminiatures, which will not leave anyone disappointed.

Another museum that we can enjoy in the Castell de Guadalest is the Salt and Pepper Shakers Museum, there are only two in the world, and it consists of more than 20,000 original pieces from around the world collected over the last 25 years. Funny, isn’t it?
